The latest fortnight of CGC-graded comic sales showed an interesting contrast between established collecting favourites and newer titles attracting considerable attention. While Silver Age Marvel comics continued to account for some of the largest sales totals, a modern Batman series delivered one of the most commanding performances of its decade.
Between October 20 and November 2, 2026, GPAnalysis recorded 19,941 individual books changing hands for a combined $5,231,170. The median sale price remained at $100, with Amazing Spider-Man (1963) once again leading overall trading activity.
The biggest individual transaction belonged to Amazing Fantasy #15, with a CGC 7.0 copy selling for $109,800 through Heritage Auctions. However, the fortnight’s story extended well beyond that headline sale.
Fantastic Four challenged Amazing Spider-Man’s financial dominance among 1960s titles, Invincible comfortably led the 2000s, and Absolute Batman generated an extraordinary proportion of spending among the 2020s’ five highest-selling titles.
Together, these results illustrate how differently collectors are distributing their spending across generations of comics.

Market Observations
The fortnight’s largest transaction accounted for approximately 2.1% of total reported market sales, making it an important result without overwhelming the broader picture.
Amazing Spider-Man accounted for about 6% of all books traded, reinforcing its position as the market’s most active individual title. Yet its volume dominance did not translate into leadership across every decade. From Golden Age superhero comics to contemporary releases, several titles showed that the books collectors trade most often are not necessarily the ones attracting the most spending.
🏆 Trophy Sale
Amazing Fantasy (1962-1996) #15 (1962), CGC 7.0, sold for $109,800 through HA.com.
🕷️ The Volume King
Amazing Spider-Man, The (1963), with 1,197 books sold, generated approximately $500,000.

Popularity ≠ Spending
Comparing the most-traded title with the highest-selling title for each decade during October 20 – November 2, 2026.
Trading popularity and spending were evenly divided across the decades. Five shared the same leader, while five saw collectors spend the most on a title other than the one traded most frequently.
The Bottom Line
The October 20 to November 2 reporting period demonstrated that the CGC-graded market continues to accommodate very different collecting interests and spending patterns.
Amazing Spider-Man remained the overall leader in trading volume, while the 1960s generated the largest combined sales value among their five highest-selling titles. Fantastic Four’s strong performance ensured that Spider-Man faced meaningful competition within the decade, particularly among individual issues.
Elsewhere, Sports Illustrated’s leadership in the 1950s reminded readers that significant spending is not confined to traditional comic books. Invincible’s dominance of the 2000s and Ultimate Fallout’s sales leadership in the 2010s offered further examples of how individual titles can outperform their contemporaries.
The most striking result, however, belonged to Absolute Batman. Its $217,351 sales total and commanding share of the 2020s Top Five illustrated just how concentrated spending can become around a single publication.
Ultimately, this fortnight was not defined by one exceptional transaction. The contrast between established collecting favourites, competitive Silver Age titles, and a remarkably dominant modern series made the results worth examining.
